I like this shifter mount. It's sturdy steel with high quality hardware. It's very simple and straight forward to install and has a lot of adjustability. If international shipping charges were more affordable, I'm sure it would be more popular in the us.

This is the best add on you can buy for the playseat! Shifting is so much more fun " obviously need the shifter as well" i have the G29 wheel and shifter. The quality is really great! Nice and solid, best yet the quick shipping!

The playseat and this attachment with the shifter plus the butt kicker gamer 2 equals the best time you'll ever have playing racing game

Bought a playseat Evolution Alcantara, slider and gearshift holder pro.
Several large boxes and many pieces of steel, bolts, screws and manuals arrived!

Very well manufactured materials - fit and finish was excellent, all threads were well made etc.

It was quite a challenge to build the seat, gearshift and slider all in one go as they had to be built in parallel. However, the manuals are clear and if you take your time and give yourself room to lay everything out neatly it is not that difficukt.

Assembled it is extremely comfortable, good looking and compact.
All in all a very smart addition to my gaming system.

This is very sturdy. It's in a good position and can be moved around a little for adjustment. I would like an option to have it raised higher for sequential shifting.

I have had my GearShiftHolder PRO for about two weeks now and using it has been great fun. The shipping was fast and it came carefully packed. Its assembly and integration with the Playseat was pretty easy. The materials and quality of construction are astonishing which make the gear shifter usage extremely sturdy.
Although before buying the GearShiftHolder PRO I had some doubts about if it would be worth, now I have no doubts at all. I am very happy with it. The gaming experience is incredibly immersive; I fully recommend it!

I was originally planning on building a shifter mount myself, thinking how hard could it be to get some steel and bend it myself? Well, to buy steel with a proper thickness can be quite expensive, and to bend it can be quite complicated. I thought of a couple other solutions but none of them would turn out to be sturdy enough.
I started researching shifter mounts and the only three I could find was the Openwheeler shifter mount, the older generation Playseat shifter mount, and this Pro model. The Openwheeler looked like it might have worked but reviews said it was wobbly by design (despite being cheaper). The older version Playseat shifter mount was about the same price as this yet less adjustable. And, finally the Pro model, sturdy, highly adjustable, and works very well.

If you need a shifter mount, this is the only option you should consider.

I also recommend buying from the Playseatstore directly since it was cheaper after shipping and tax when compared to U.S. based online stores.

The gearshift holder is a must have if you have a manual gear shifter. It just adds that extra bit of realism to your experience and it can be mounted on either side of the seat which is useful. It can also support virtually any gear shifter which means you have no worries wondering if your shifter will fit in or not. The shifter was also packaged with the seat that I ordered and they both arrived very quickly. The gearshift holder has a lovely painted finish and altogether the whole seat assembly looks amazing.

This product is very nice and easy to set up, took me about 10 minutes to set up and attach my gear shifter. The quality is very good as it’s all metal and comes with all the bolts needed which is very useful as you don’t have to spend more money on bolts. This product is very nice looking and blends in perfectly with my play seat evolutions. There’s loads of extra space for your phone and other items. The product is very nicely designs and has loads of ways to hide cables with the everything and makes the whole set up look cleaner. So happy I bought this product it’s very strong when using my shifter and feels so sturdy it doesn’t make any difference to the chairs feel and strength at all. Perfect product thank you playseat.

Bought for my playseat to fit my clubsport shifter and handbrake (fanatec) , arrived quite quickly and had quite some weight to it .
Its really sturdy just like the playseat the assembly is straight forward has all the hardware for mounting either of the three main companies shifters and instructions to do so i.e thrustmaster , logitec , fanatec , they even supplied white cotton gloves for assembly which i think is spectacular.
Definitely recommend for for anyone considering getting it top marks

It's good for a shifter and makes fun. The only problem was that the mounting on the seat was difficult, the problem was that it was difficult to see that the holder must be mounted under the seat and also under the seat slider, but after I checked how to mount it was easy.

I bought the gear shift-holder after buying the Thrust master TSS handbrake.I found this product to be strong and sturdy with a nice finish. This Gear shift holder is very easy to assemble with you only needing to remove only one side of the seat to slide a piece of metal under the seat.

On purchasing the Playseat Evolution I also included the Gear Shitfholder Pro. It is the perfect accessory which can be firmly secured onto your Playseat and is adjustable for anyone who wants to use it. The Gear Shift Holder is very stable and refuses to wobble no matter how rough you are with it!

How would rate this perfect product on a scale of 1 to 10? 1000000000000000 is what I would rate it. It really is the perfect accessory to the racing simulator from Playseat.

Thank you Playseat for this wonderful package. It is the best birthday present money could buy.

I recently upgraded my SIM setup and needed to add a shift lever mount to my Playseat. I was always tentative to do so thinking the shifter would feel cheap and the mount wouldn't be solid enough to put it through it's paces on longer online races. I was definitely wrong. the Gear ShiftHolder PRO is the bomb. It's rock solid and provides with plenty of adjustability so it's in the right spot. I would highly recommend adding this to your setup without hesitation!

My grandson, (12yrs) old...couldn't be happier with his Playseat GearShiftHolder Pro...he was so excited to get his seat, put it together and then be able to use it on Christmas Day. The product is great...he plays on it every day after school...it's sturdy and appears to be able to last for quite awhile. I'm glad he has such satisfaction using it...he likes the personal challenges he sets for himself...and he can have fun being "at home" with the rest of the family!

It took me a while to get this as I was using an older playseat for years without the gearstick holder. When I eventually upgraded my seat I got this at the same time and it's a game changer. No more finding something to attach the gearstick to! Sits nicely on the seat too! Would recommend, it's worth the small extra price when buying the seat.

Upgrading your Playseats with this shifter mount is super easy. The ergonomics is better than some actual cars. Works perfectly with my Logitech G920 wheel and shifter. It solidly mounts, no shaking or cheap attachments. The quality, fit and finish is perfect. My 15 year old son installed it with some allen keys. We purchased here at the factory store because I wanted a perfect fit. I seriously doubt I could have put together something this nice for the same time and money. We love it!

I added PRO shifter mount after purchasing a shifter for my G920. I wanted to make shifting close to realistic, so I was picky on the mount I would use. Playseats mount fit the bill for location, adjustability, stability and price. I'm in the US and it arrived within a week. My 15 year old son was so excited when it arrived, he simply sent me a text on where are the tools and then a photo of it completely assembled moments later. He was completely assembled and playing in less than 30 minutes. I finally got to play when I got home from work and I must say, the ergonomics of my Playseat is better than some cars!!! There is no way I could have designed, built and installed a mount this good myself for the price. Excellent job Playseat!!

When I bought the Playseat Evolution I looked at my options for mounting my Thrustmaster TH8A to the rig. It was either I come up with a creative way to use a piece of furniture to hold the shifter close to the seat, get the standard shifter holder, or go with this pro shifter holder.

I'm glad I actually decided to go with the pro shifter holder because not only is it extremely sturdy and perfectly compatible with the delightful TH8A but it also provides the most realistic placement possible for a shifter. Having had my sim hardware often mounted on a desk and various tables in the past, this is such a great improvement that it's actually improved any sim driving involving a shifter, actually yielding better track times all while providing great comfort and ease.

We got this add on gearshift mount for our son’s 10th birthday to go with the Logitech g29 wheelset it works absolutely superb and is very well built, we already had the playseat with Thrustmaster t150 but wanted to upgrade the wheel to the Logitech with stick shift absolutely brilliant product fits perfect and super fast delivery

I searched and searched for a better shifter holder and came up empty this playseat attachment does NOT disappoint it's nice and sleek looking it's very veryyyy sturdy strong with no flex. If the shifter moves the whole chair moves haha seriously it has many different length and height adjustments. Not only that but it also holds all of the best top of the line shifters out there. Recommend this to anybody with a Playseat forsure!! Also very reasonably priced.
